Vicki Norris is founder and president of Restoring Order®, a professional organizing firm serving a local and national clientele in home, sole proprietor, small business and corporate environments. Norris is also a
television personality. She is a popular regularly-featured expert on HGTV’s Mission:
Organization. and for six years, she has presented a monthly organizing
segment on AM Northwest, the morning talk show on ABC’s affiliate in Norris is notable for
her innovative approach in business. While most of the demand for applied
organizational skills at home and office is met by sole proprietors, Norris
created a rare business model in the professional organizing industry,
employing and training professional organizers in the Restoring Order® philosophy and
methods. Instead of simply showing clients how to organize their spaces,
Norris and her staff coach them in discovering the causes of disorder that
create clutter in the first place. Clients learn to change their thinking and
behavior to embrace organization not as an activity or set of quick tips, but
as a lifestyle of self-management. The philosophy is so successful that Norris has grown the business to include five organizing consultants whose schedules are booked with clients up to two months in advance. Her own time is split between clients, speaking engagements, seminars, and television appearances. Leveraging her success, Norris created the Reclaim Your Office™ collection, a line of high-end organizing products launched in 2004. Norris designed and perfected the line during years of searching for attractive yet durable products to help her clients conquer their clutter. Norris stays on the cutting edge of her growing industry with a seat on the strategic Chapter Relations Committee of the National Association of Professional Organizers. She is a past president of the Oregon Chapter of NAPO. |
