E-Newsletter Subscription and the Can Spam
Act
As you may know, President Bush signed into law
the Can
Spam Act of 2003 (Public Law No. 108-187). This new law, which took
effect on January 1, 2004, is intended to cut down on the rising level
of unsolicited email, and it imposes certain requirements for the
delivery of commercial email and institutes certain penalties for
failing to comply with such requirements.
Restoring
Order® wholeheartedly
supports the passing of a national standard that outlaws and
prohibits spam abuses. In light of this new legislation, we want to
explain how you got on our E-Newsletter mailing list and clarify our privacy policy to make sure that there is no
misunderstanding of how we use your information:
- You are receiving
